Cork Zine Fest is the first – and longest running! – festival celebrating all things zines in Ireland. We run a yearly two day festival which includes a market, talks, workshops and performances – all looking at the power of independent publishing and papery magic.
Representing the CZF team I collaborated with Good Day Cork, Cork’s positive news and event platform committed to amplifying misrepresented and unrepresented voices. On the middle night of Cork Zine Fest we hosted a pop up performance of the Many Tongues of Cork, with new writing shared in their original languages. Audience members responded in drawin form. We published the resulting drawings alongside the writing in this, the Zine of Many Tongues. Find out more about Good Day Cork – here!
